The
series revolves around the story of Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince
Charming / James (Josh Dallas), who were separated when the Evil Queen (Lana
Parrilla) casts a curse on them that will end all the characters happy endings
fairytale wedding day of two. In search of solace, like Rumpelstiltskin Snow
White (Robert Carlyle), who issues a prophecy that the curse of the Queen will
all lead to some terrible place where there are no happy endings. He also
reveals that the daughter born to Snow White, Emma, will return when he
completes 28 years to rescue them, thus beginning the final battle against the
Queen. Following the advice of the Blue Fairy, Geppetto (Tony Amendola) Pinocchio
and build a wardrobe of a magical tree that allow a person to escape the curse
of the Queen. Want to send Prince Charming Snow White and her daughter to use
the magic tree and escape the curse, but Snow White goes into labor and gives

On his 28th birthday, Emma is approached by a boy of ten who identifies himself as her son, Henry (Jared S. Gilmore), whom Emma gave up for adoption as a baby. Not wanting a relationship with him, Emma agrees to take him back to his home in Storybrooke. Along the way, Henry shows you a big book of fairy tales, insisting that all the stories that are there are real. When they arrive at Storybrooke, Henry advises that everyone in town are actually characters from fairy tales, exiled by the curse and no memory of their real identities. This includes his therapist, Dr. Archie Hopper, who is actually the Jiminy Cricket, and their teacher Mary Margaret Blanchard, who is truly the mother of Emma, Snow White. He says that time is frozen in Storybrooke, and people are unable to leave, but that the curse will be broken by Emma since she is the daughter of Prince Charming and Snow White.
